Bad Santa
December 22nd 2008 11:14
I almost skipped this movie purely because I am not a huge fan of Billy Bob Thornton.
What a mistake that would have been!
When I first watched it I didn't quite know what to expect but, I found one of the funniest Christmas movies ever! (and no I am not over selling it)
After rewinding and reviewing?
Still laugh my arse off and I also managed to recognise that the movie also has a heart. The kid (with the most unfortunate name in the world) is adorably hopeless, complete with snotty nose.
Also, as with all good Christmas movies it is a story of redemption. Using the Christmas period as a cover to rob stores is utterly dispicable but, Willie gets turned around by the kid and a waitress with a Santa fetish.
OMG! I just wrote Santa fetish.
Anyhoo.......
Nothing blows up in this movie (Watch Die Hard for a great Christmas movie where stuff blows up) but, there are punches thrown, sex and dick jokes all the things that make a great substitute for things blowing up.
In all this is my favourite Christmas movie.
Keep an eye out for: Alex Borstein! Who is this I hear you ask. She is the voice behind Lois in Family Guy. She plays a mother of a brat wanting to chat to Santa.
This movie is full of funny dialogue and a few great one liners including:
But, nothing beats

You know what I see when I look at you? America's got a sad future ahead of it.
But, nothing beats
Fuck me, Santa! Fuck me, Santa! Fuck me, Santa!
