What would you do if eight years had gone by but, you hadn't aged?
Growing up this was one of the movies that I replayed over and over and ov- you get the drift.
One of the reasons (and it is a very tiny part of the movie) was they had dogs catching frisbees. I really wanted a dog that could do that.
After rewinding and reviewing?
This is just the best family movie with some lessons to be learned.
The main character David learns that sometimes little brothers can be helpful and to make the most of a strange situation.
This movie has nothing blowing up, no sex and nobody dies. It has a fun premise (who didn't want to be the navigator?), a great family reinforcing message, songs that mum and dad will know, the coolest spaceship EVER and a cute little alien creature.
If you need a family friendly movie that is not completely mind numbing for mum and dad this is the one.
Keep an eye out for: Sarah Jessica Parker! as Carolyn the girl who helps David out of the government facility.
The conversations that Max and David have a full of chuckles but, there are not a lot of great one liners.
However, a nice little play on a common saying is
